Highlight uses AI to find the sections of a long-form video that work well as short-form. Check why each one was picked, then choose the ones you need for short-form production or further editing.
What you can do with Highlight
Video analysis
AI analyzes the content of a long-form video and finds the key sections.
Highlight candidates
Check the key sections the AI selected and the reason each one was chosen.
Titles and captions
When you make a short, the AI generates its title and captions and places them in the editing screen.
Full workflow
Of the sections the AI finds, only the ones you pick are extracted as clips, which you can download or turn into short-form videos.
Upload a video and start the analysis.
Upload a long-form video, choose a topic, and press the Start analysis button. The analysis cannot start until a topic is chosen.
Pick the sections to extract.
When the analysis finishes, a list of sections that work well as short-form appears, and selecting a section shows its preview and the reason it was picked. Every section starts out selected, so clear the ones you do not need and press the Extract clips button.
Make short-form videos from the extracted clips.
Press the Make shorts button to open the editing screen with captions already added. You can download the finished short-form video or upload it straight to YouTube.
